Welcome to my revamped blog, I hope you like it. This first post is just going to be very short but my plan is to post every Friday. I have already got a few written, so hopefully that will help me to do that. If you new to the blog then there are already a few posts, starting in 2014, that you can go back and read if you are interested, or you can just start from here!
As I said, this blog has been revamped, and it has been designed by one of the amazing young people that I have the privilege of doing life with here in Tanzania. He has recently left his secure job to follow the Lord’s lead and start his own company. It was such a blessing to be able to support him a little in that endeavour. If you are someone who prays then please pray favour over him and his business right now, his name is Johansen. Or if you need a little technical help, why not check out his website (see the link at the bottom of the home page of the blog), the wonders of modern technology means that distance is no issue!
Last year (2025) I published my first book. It is the story of how God has taken me from broken to beautiful, giving Him all the glory for the wonderful journey He has taken me on, and continues to take me on. It is full of suggestions from my walk to help you on your own journey and to step into greater healing, freedom and wholeness. It is called ‘Trophy of Grace, from broken to beautiful’ and is available on Amazon. If you read it (or have read it) and are blessed by it, then please leave me a review on Amazon so that other people know what to expect. If you think you would like to read it and that it would be a blessing to you in your journey with the Lord into wholeness but cannot afford it, then please send me an email explaining this and I will send you a free ebook copy. My email is also on the home page.
Lastly, at least for this post, I want to encourage you to subscribe to this blog so that every week the content will come straight to your inbox. As a thank you, everyone who does subscribe will get an mp3 of my short story ‘A consecration story’. It is my retelling of the lady with the alabaster jar who breaks it over Jesus in the house of Simon the Pharisee. I hope if you sign up you are blessed by the story too.
Well that’s it for today. So until next Friday I pray that you will be blessed in seeing His goodness at work in all you do.
